  4. Hi guys,

  6.  first off all:

  8.    this is not the report
  9.    that was planed ...
  10.    (by some members ..)
  11.

  13.  Because of some internal troubles, the original report did not get ready
  14.  in time.
  15.  
  16.  So I coded a small
  17.  Hicolor Text&Jpeg+PCX Viewer.
  18.  Grabed the music and put the
  19.  JPEGs into the report-text.
  20.

  22.  The result is this
  23.  simple "mekka-report", approx. coding-time: 5 hours :)

  26. 2. Information
  27. --------------

  29.  You will need at least 8Mb
  30.  to run this because all the
  31.  JPEGs are loaded in the beginning.
  32.  And a gfx card with 640x480 hicolor mode....
  33.  
  34.  There is a Subdir called "TEXT" which contains 4 independent Mekka-Reports.
  35.  They are text-only and not implemented int the report.
  36.  You will also find an official results.txt in this directory

  38. 3. Limitations and Warnings
  39. ---------------------------

  41. - Please boot clean, this means you should not install any driver except
  42.   himem and vesa.
  43.   Otherwise your system might crash or you'll lack memory .
  44.  
  45. - If you have a SB-comp. Card, you must set your blaster-environmet !
  46.  
  47. - You need an external or internal vesa-driver which supports
  48.   640x480 in hicol mode.
  49.   Attention, some drivers like "TLIVESA" don't do this.
  50.   Nothing strange will happen, but you will end up at the report-screen
  51.   with 63000 colors missing :)
  52.   To be save : Use univbe 5.x

  54. - Please don't reboot when you see a black screen after the first init.
  55.   At this time, the computer decompresses 8 MB of jpg-files, on slower
  56.   machines this may take a while.
